Snow days.

So we are in the first few inches of a real Nor-easter, a blizzard of 12-18 inches they say, and maybe winds up to 50 miles an hour.  Thats a lot.  Makes you wonder what they had to go through back then when they only had a fire to sit by for heat.  Ours is going and it is a comfort, but we are spoiled by our furnace too.

Just in time for Christmas I received my 3 plates to put over the fireplace, I couldn't afford much but they looked so toile.  One red, one green and one brown porcelain transferware octagonal plates.  They look nice.
